“My next project is an R & B album, which I’ve already been in the studio creating. People are going to be able to see another side of me that maybe they didn’t see in [Destiny’s Child]. I’m hoping to get a cool album that’s positive and sassy at the same time. Really, Shug Avery has given me a whole different outlook. Just in that boldness of my music, speaking about relationships, and things that I know people want to know about what I’ve gone through. So I’m really excited to share that, hopefully in October.”
