MUST-SEE FILM: RATATOUILLE
-Remy of "Ratatouille". IMDB-
Last weekend I went to see Ratatouille...as a treat to my younger brother. I was pleasantly surprised at how animinated films have kept in mind an older audience WITHOUT neglecting their core audience-the KIDS at the same time. I especially love the message/theme behind the film--don't judge a book by its cover. Set in France, the cooking captial of the world, Ratatouille is a story about a rat with a special cooking and smelling talent. Without taking away from the film, the main character (rat named Remy) uses his talent to save his clan from eating---you guess it-- rat poison and in process **spoiler alert** saves a known restaurant. I haven't watch this hard since I caught Madagascar with my brother. Because the main character is a rat, there are some points in the film that you WILL yell out "EW!" Trust me---I couldn't finish off my popcorn (LOL!) Still not convinced by little review? Well check out the trailer:
To my avid box office Thursday readers, this review was YOU! Ratatouille is a must-see this weekend. I'm heading off to a movie premiere right off 125th in Harlem so my plans of seeing M. Knight and "Shrek 3" would be pushed off to next weekend. Posting may or may not be effected...just so you know.
