Introducing a new category to Urban-Hoopla---SAME SONG. Premise? An oldie remixed. Do keep in mind this idea is to reflect how music gets remixed for the next generation to appreciate. To jumpstart this idea, here is "Sail On" as recorded by the Commodores AND Destiny's Child.

With Lionel Richie on lead vocals, this is a classic Commodores hit from 1979. Lionel penned the inspirational ballad which was featured on the Commodores album, "Midnight Magic."

Destiny's Child-"Sail On." (LIVE)

Destiny's Child with its original line-up Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett sang this classic Commodores at Motown Live. Destiny's Child also recorded the song for their self-titled album back in 1998. Beyonce and Kelly primiarly sang lead up until LeToya and LaTavia's vocals supported the chorus.
