Next up for the R&B songstress and actress is a concert gig. Kellly will be performing on September 24th at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Majic 102.3 20th Anniversary Celebration.
And in related news, Kelly and Beyonce alongside Tina & Mathew Knowles have announced plans for the "Knowles-Rowland Temenos Place Apartments," a 43-unit, single room occupancy supportive housing facility for at-risk populations in the Houston area. Each individual has contributed $1 million dollar to the project.

This is going to sound like a broken record but I don't get how you went from being one of the most successful girl groups to a struggling solo artist.
Can't Kelly catch a break? Is she simply going to be the underdog?
I feel for Michelle though. Her new album drops within a month's time and there's little to none promo on that.
What is up with that?! Kelly and Michelle ought to be on the same level as their R&B counterparts.
They got the talent and confidence but so what's up?
At 2:49 PM,
Kelly is such a lovely girl & really should be on the same type of level as Beyonce.
Messing around with that Knowles family will keep her down as long as Poppa keeps inching Beyonce ahead at every opportunity. Beyonce & family should be embarrassed to promote such a low-level housing project. 43 one room apts.
They have so much money they could build a real housing project with 2to 3 bdrms so folks could actually LIVE. Its funny how (rich) people forget how they got there and who helped put them there. If you want to help people then truly HELP them....not bullshit and tease with (common/poor)peoples lives. People can SURVIVE in one room but Dammmmm --- with all the money you got you could not have offerred a little more?? They, themselves would never live in a place like the one they are proposing.
well i can say that if her music career never picks up, she 'd make a beautiful model.
