LUPE FIASCO'S DUMB IT DOWN
Lupe Fiasco's back with the lead single, "Dumb It Down" off his sophomore record, "The Cool."
Lupe's last album "Food & Liquor" was one of the best hip-hop albums of 2006. "Real", "Pressure", and "Hurt Me Soul" were were on constant replay on my iPOD. "Daydreaming", "Kick, Push", and "I Gothca" were all released from the record. "Food & Liquor" touch about everything from hip-hop to plain ignorance. Visit his official myspace to keep up with his latest project, "The Cool."

Lupe Fiasco is talented as hell, and his music is high-quality-I actually bought food n' liquor even tho i could have copped a bootleg. But, dumb it down, while lyrically in the stratosphere (in a good way, don't get it twisted) suffers from a subpar beat, at least as far as a lead single goes . That just wasn't a good look, I'll buy it anyways, but I know from experience that people who hear him on it that don't already like him won't bother to listen to what he sayin just because the beat is whack (perfect example: "pop, pop"...whack beat, and people who only heard that said Lupe was whack, not realizing it was production).
