LENNY KRAVITZ TO ACT PLUS HIS NEW SINGLE
Last night, Lenny Kravitz made a rare red carpet appearance at 2007 Cipriani Wall Street Concert Series benefiting UNICEF and The Sarah Ferguson Foundation.
According to EURWEB.COM, Lenny Kravitz is following in his mother's (Roxie Roker) acting footsteps. For his acting debut in big screen adaption of novel "Push", Kravitz portrays a nurse alongside actresses Mo'Nique and Paula Patton.
"Push" sounds quite interesting with Mo'Nique, Paula and Kravitz in it but the film sounds like a serious one. I'm eager to see Mo'Nique act less comedic and more dramatic.
Kevipod Music has your first listen to Lenny's new single, "I'll Be Waiting" which is off his upcoming record, "It Is Time for a Love Revolution". If you're a fan of Kravitz's previous ballads like "Let Love Rule", "Again" and "I'll Belong to You", you'll love "I'll Be Waiting". Kravitz has filmed the video treatment with director Marc Webb earlier this month in the Big Apple. The Brooklyn-raised rock singer has added the song on his official myspace page. Kravitz's ninth studio record, "It is Time for a Love Revolution" drops February 5th.

Lenny Kravitz will make his motion picture debut alongside Mo'Nique, Paula Patton and newcomer Gabourey "Gabbie" Sidibe in the upcoming film "Push," an independently financed adaptation of the bestselling novel by Sapphire (Ramona Lofton)...The story of the movie centres on Clareece "Precious" Jones, an overweight, illiterate African-American teen in Harlem. Just as she's about to give birth to her second child, Jones is accepted into an alternative school where a teacher, played by Patton, helps her find an alternative path in her life. Mo'nique plays the role of the girl's mum and Kravitz plays the role of a nurse who shows kindness to Jones.
