THIS CHRISTMAS OPENS NOVEMBER 21ST
Last year's holiday season had "Dreamgirls" as the lead African-American film. For the 2007 holiday season, "This Christmas" looks to be the top contender. Via Black Voices Blog:
Coming out on November 21 is the next star-studded film, 'This Christmas', which features Delroy Lindo, Loretta Devine, Regina King, Idris Elba, Sharon Leal, Mekhi Phifer, Columbus Short, Chris Brown, Laz Alonzo, Lauren London, Keith Robinson, David Banner, Ricky Harris, and Jessica Stroup.
Columbus Short stars as Claude Whitfield, Sharon Leal as Kelli Whitfield, Keith Robinson, Lauren London and Mekhi Phifer star in a story about the Whitfields family that meets up for Christmas. As the siblings come home for the first time in years with plenty of baggage and as the Christmas tree is trimmed and lights are hung, secrets are revealed and the Whitfields joins together to discover the true meaning of family.
