R&B/pop singer Beyonce Knowles is tackling another genre for her upcoming follow-up to "B'Day"-country. This news just comes fresh off the heels of her country-inspired performance of "Irreplaceable" with Sugarland at the 2007 American Music Awards (see above).
With Destiny's Child, Beyonce sharpened her R&B roots on the records, "The Writing's On the Wall" and "Destiny Fulfilled". When she went solo, Beyonce maintain her R&B roots on "Dangerously in Love" before embarking into a funk/pop sound on "B'Day". For the re-release of "B'Day", she tackled on Latin music with a EP disc "Irreemplazable" and a Shakira duet, "Beautiful Liar".
