"Meet the Browns" stars the talented and exquiste Angela Bassett as a single mother from Georgia who attends the funeral of her father-a guy she never met.

At the funeral, Angela encounters her father's crass, fun-loving family.

The stage production is just as good but Tyler Perry isn't featured in the play.
