Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles were spotted down in Miami at the 2008 Magic Convention to promote the Spring 2008 collection of their clothing line, House of Dereon.

In case you missed the hoopla on Aretha Franklin-Beyonce-Grammy drama, here's a quick rundown. Aretha Franklin doesn't like "The Queen" title that Beyonce used to introduced Tina Turner with.

Aretha on Beyonce's Tina Turner intro: "I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyonce, however I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy. In addition to that, I thank the Grammys and the voting academy for my 20th Grammy and love to Beyonce anyway."


Beyonce's father Mathew Knowles responding to Aretha's statement: "Something this ridiculous -- it's childish, it's unprofessional," Matthew Knowles replied in a statement to People.com. "And it's a sad day when egos get bruised because somebody used the word king, queen, prince or princess."
