PAULA PATTON, JHUD, AND KERRY WASHINGTON DOES ESSENCE
Paula Patton, Kerry Washington, Ruby Dee, and Jennifer Hudson are on the March cover issue of "Essence" magazine.
Washington has on a white silk mikado Dolce & Gabbana dress. Hudson put her fashion forward self in a black lacy Collette Dinigan number. A pregnant Patton rock a blush pink J. Mendel dress.
The editors at "Essence" celebrated Black Hollywood's excellence. Crunk & Disorderly has a scan of Evan Ross, Jurnee Smollett, Tristan Wilds, and Raven-Symone - who the magazine's handpicked as the industry's "rising stars".
Each cover girl was given a title by "Essence". Hudson was named "The Oscar Winner" for her breakthrough role in "Dreamgirls". First-time Academy Award nominee Ruby Dee was coined "The Grande Dame". Patton was called "The Ingenue" while Kerry's "The Risktaker".
