As reported earlier on this blog, Janet Jackson is set to appear on the April cover of "Vibe" magazine. Now thanks to this press release, you can check out more excerpts from Janet's "Vibe" magazine interview.

Shot in January by renowned fashion photographer Michelangelo di Battista at New York City's Milk Studios, the magazine's exclusive photos show a glamorous Janet in Balenciaga, Vera Wang, and Dolce & Gabanna.

Janet talks about her musical influences: "My influence came from my family. And I used to listen to ... all the classics. But was there a major influence, someone whom I studied? No."

Janet on working with a new group of producers for "Discipline": "I listened to the songs and I immediately fell in love with them. This sounds like something Jimmy and I would do ... this sounds like something from a past album, so it's still me."
