Lupe Fiasco released the video treatment of his third single, "Hip-Hop Saved My Life" with Nikki Jean via his official blog. "Hip-Hop Saved My Life" followed the same artistic concept behind Lupe's previous singles, "Dumb It Down" and "Superstar" which is taken off his sophomore disc, "The Cool".

With a cameo by Bun B, the video was directed by Dr. Teeth. For inquiring minds, Nikki is an up and coming songwriter and singer with a large following on her MySpace page and her official YouTube page.
