MARIAH TO REPLACE JANET ON SNL

After reports of a flu-ridden Janet Jackson cancelling her March 15th gig on "Saturday Night Live" was confirmed, Mariah Carey is said to be Janet's replacement.

Janet's publicist Patti Webster may have confirmed that Janet "needs some time to get better" but she left up in the air whether Janet would have perform her new songs "Luv" and "Can't B Good" which would impact urban radio next week.

On the bright side, Mariah appearing on "SNL" means that this would be her first TV performance of her hit single, "Touch My Body". Recap Janet's last SNL guest spot here.

I sure hope JJ gets better. That flu can be Nasty. I love both of these pop icons. I know MiMi will bring it Sat. night. I also hope JJ appears on the show soon.

^^Agreed. Janet and Mariah are two of my favorite artists. I'm eager to see what Mariah will bring on "SNL".

Hopefully Janet gets do SNL when she drops her tour. :)

i read somewhere that janet will do the show in may . not sure how true that is . i was really looking forward to seeing janet , but mariah is just as good. i hope janet gets better soon
