Mary J Blige performed her hit single, "Stay Down" off her current album, "Growing Pains". Oprah handpicked Mary's single as one of the top picks of the summer.

Estelle and Christelle Michele are competing for the Best New Artist category. Erykah Badu's "Honey" got a nomination for Video of the Year.
