Record executive/music moguel Andre Harrell's celebration dinner brought out Chris Rock, Jay-Z, Mary J Blige, Diddy, and LaTonya Blige-DaCosta. Andre is often credited as launching the careers of MJB and Diddy.



Pharrell Williams showed off his new crocodile Spongebob SquarePants sneakers and his custom made oversize Hermes bag. According to Pharrell's blog, his sneakers were made by BAPE.



Also at the 17th Annual Trumpet Awards were Chris Tucker, Anthony Anderson, Holly Robinson Peete, Elise Neal, En Vogue, Sean Garrett, and Raven-Simone.

The Neighborhood Inauguration Ball and the MTV special "Be The Change" brought out performances by Maroon 5, Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, and many more. According to various reports including this one, all celeb performers were stun.



Kanye West and his new longer hairstyle/Afro/Mullet?? performed a medley of his hits including "Love Lockdown."

Alicia Keys jumped off her piano to perform "No One" with soul. She told MTV she was glad to be apart of history.

The Knowles sisters made their way through France's Nice airport. Beyonce and Solange were headed out to the 2008 World Music Awards. On Mrs. Carter's feet are blue sole round-toe Yves Saint Laurent Trib Two platform pumps - the very ones Jennifer Lopez famously wore before at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 fashion show.



Solange walked the red carpet in a white/grey tiered chiffon dress while Beyonce Sasha Fierce performed "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" in bronze Extreme Dior gladiator sandals.



Fresh off her appearance at the 2008 MTV Europe Awards, Estelle attended the 2008 World Music Awards. On her feet are purple suede Giuseppe Zanotti platform sandals - the very pair Ciara rock for her nude "Vibe" magazine cover. Estelle quickly changed into another outfit that showcase her Pierre Hardy moire velvet sandals that Nia Long and Mary J Blige previously wore. (Thanks FabMania!)

Beyonce's upcoming third solo album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce" can be heard online via 7 Digital. The leaked track "Beautiful Nightmare" has a new sound and was renamed "Sweet Dreams." Standout tracks are the Sasha Fierce tracks, "Halo", "Radio", "Diva", "Echo" and "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It"). "I Am..Sasha Fierce" has its U.S album release date on November 18th.

Mary J Blige and Keisha Whitaker attended the West Hollywood store opening of designer Catherine Malandrino's Maison store. (MJB has said in the past that Malandrino is one of her favorite designers so these two are close on the fashion tip.) Also at the event were Dita von Teese, Sanaa Lathan, and Rosario Dawson.



On MJB's feet are these Christian Louboutin bloody mary ankle boots. I like Mary's Gucci monogram clutch. Mary can be seen in the nation-wide "The Love Soul" tour with Robin Thicke.

With the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Honors coming to Atlanta this weekend, you can definitely count on many celeb-hosted after-parties at various nightspots. Mary J Blige and her husband Kendu Isaac were spotted having a good time at the Velvet Room after her tour ("The Love Soul" Tour) with Robin Thicke. Popular Atlanta-based photography site, Atlanta's Royal Photography (ATLPICS.NET) was on the scene. Mary also collaborated with Musiq Soulchild on his new single, "If You Leave" which you can check out a sneak preview of the video treatment below.


The Sanji-directed video has its BET premiere on October 20th at 7:30 PM. Musiq's album, "On My Radio" would be in stores on December 9th.

Keyshia Cole recently celebrated her 27th birthday with a private dinner at Mr. Chow restaurant. (The Beverly Hills eatery has become the place to celebrate your birthday because Toni Braxton recently celebrated her 42nd birthday there as well.) Designer Melody Ehsani posted up on her blog a clip of Keyshia thanking her guests for coming out to her birthday. Producer Polow Da Don joined Keyshia at the party because it was his actual birthday and he also gave a brief speech in the clip as well. (Thanks Melody!)



Keyshia's mother Frankie was right by her daughter's side as well as Ne-Yo, Anthony Hamilton (who did a hot duet with her called "Losing You") and Tyrese. Keyshia's style has been on point lately as evident in that pink and gray Herve Leger dress she has on. As much as the Herve Leger dress has practically taken over Hollywood, Keyshia can get away with rocking one.



On the music tip, Keyshia recently released the first single ("Playa Cardz" featuring 2Pac) off her upcoming third album, "A Different Me" due out on December 16th. Akon collaborated with the R&B singer on a new song called “(Do Ya Thang) Work It Out.” (Thanks Only-Keyshia!) Give it a listen...
