Ashanti recently released the video treatment for her latest single, "Good, Good" which is taken off her disc, "The Declaration." If you're keeping track with Ashanti, "Good, Good" is single #2...and its familar melody is taken from Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney's "The Girl Is Mine". (Keep your ears open for the second verse to hear the sample.)



The video has a great cameo from Ashanti's very good male friend, Nelly. I think it's great that these two are comfortable with working with one another on camera. FYI: Ashanti filmed a cameo in Nelly's "Body On Me" video.

Anyhow, the go-to-music director Melina definitely put the fun aspect of the song into the video. Just last month Ashanti performed this song on Leno. In case you're wondering, that male echo you hear in the song is no other than Jermaine Dupri.
