NEW MUSIC HOOPLA: CIARA'S HIGH PRICE
Buzz for Ciara's upcoming third disc, "Fantasy Ride" went up a notch when her lead single, "High Price" featuring Ludacris made its rounds on the urban music blogosphere. The ATL-based R&B songbird gave Entertainment Weekly a behind-the-scenes scoop on her conceptual album which consists of 3 discs -"Groove City", "Crunktown", and "Kingdom of Dance".
[thanks 1991keith!]
"High Price" was produced by Tricky Stewart and the single marks the second time Ciara worked with Ludacris. The song is definitely something new and edgier than Ciara's previous musical efforts. I do know that the video treatment for this single would be something to look forward to.
Ciara's new record wouldn't be in stores until this September AND she gave her fans and critics a sneak preview of what's to come via this recent Chris Brown BET Awards performance. Do you like this new Ciara song or not?

IMO It's alright...but I have to say it's different.
