CIARA'S FANTASY RIDE PUSHED BACK?!
In unexpected/disappointing news, Ciara recently said on The Angie Martinez Show at Hot 97 that her upcoming third solo album, "Fantasy Ride" has been pushed back to a possible January 2009 release date. Angie: “So New Album In December?” Ciara: “No I’m Pushing It Back I Wanna Make Sure I Give My Fans The Best I’m STILL Working Hard On It.” (Thanks Sincerely Ciara!)
Billboard magazine has announced that they will honor Ciara with a Woman of The Year Award on October 24th (tomorrow). So maybe Ciara will confirm the album's new release date...or not. In case you missed it, check out Ciara in the studio with songwriter Sean Garrett. (If this recent interview with Angie is true, then disregard the December 9th album release date Ciara said in the following video!)
For those wondering what designer silver square toe over-the-knee boots Ciara wore at the BET Hip-Hop Awards and in her "Go Girl" video -there are straight from Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 collection.
Considering that Ciara recently explained to Men's Heatlh magazine that she was inspired to succeed by two famous basketball stars, "Fantasy Ride" may become her biggest music project to date. Wasn't "Promise" a classic from the last album? Here's hoping for the best!

I'm not surprised. Go Girl is not doing well at all. I don't like it either
