ASHANTI & AKON SPOTTED IN NYC
Ashanti in a Notte by Marchesa pink and black lace dress attended the Gabrielle's Angel Foundation Gala in New York City last night. The R&B starlet reunited her "Body On Me" partner Akon at the event. Next up for Ashanti is a guest appearance on FOX 5's Good Day New York to promote her one-night only benefit performance "The Yellow Brick Road Not Taken" which celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Broadway musical, "Wicked" and an "Up Close & Personal" concert in Japan.

I think this is the third or fourth time Ashanti worn Marchesa.

It's safe to say that Marchesa is her favorite designer of the moment. She's sticking with what works for her, I suppose.
