Kanye West has gone on record to say that Rihanna was the best thing to ever happen to Beyonce. In an attempt not to sugar coat things, do you think Kanye had a point? If so check out what Kanye had to say:

Kanye said this was the case with Beyonce. ‘Rihanna was the best thing to happen to Beyonce’, referring to Rihanna’s rise to stardom suggesting Beyonce had to set the musical bar higher. Kanye believed that Beyonce did this with her new video ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’. Kanye raised quite a interesting point about the fierce competition in the music world between two of the best selling/popular female artists. Do keep in mind that Rihanna's most-copied short hairstyle and style from her "Good Girl Gone Bad" era changed the way R&B singers dressed up.

On the other hand Beyonce has been in the business longer than Rihanna's 2 year music & fashion dominance. I guess it's the question of Rihanna challenging the norm with something new, I suppose. (That's just my opinion!) Anyhow check out a sneak preview of Rihanna's "Rehab" video here.
