U.S. Senator Barack Obama became the first African-American man elected President of the United States of America. Political heads are going crazy over the historic record breaking voter turnout already!



As for what Michelle wore last night it's a red and black ombre Narciso Rodriguez dress. According to the NY Daily News, Michelle's dress is taken from the Spring 2009 collection. Barack settled for a custom-made dark navy suit by Hart Schaffner Marx - the same style suit he wore for the 2008 Democratic National Convention. (FYI: The Obamas are featured on tons of news publication today including Us Weekly.)




The 47-year-old Illinois Senator gave his victory/first speech as President-elect at Chicago's Grant Park in front of the 125,000+ crowd. Obama will be sworn in as the 44th U.S President on January 20, 2009. (YES WE CAN!)
