Box Office Thursday:Go see the new Denzel Washington flick!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!
Welcome to another installment of Box Office Thursday. Let's see who's still on the box office list:
Top Box Office
Last Updated 11/19/2006
1. Happy Feet {a penguin film beat out Bond, James Bond?!?!?}
2. Casino Royale {I was hoping the new Bond film will be number one!}
3. Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan {lawsuits are HELPING this film not hurting its sales at all!}
4. The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause {a christmas film is in the top 5 in November? WOW!}
5. Stranger Than Fiction
6. Flushed Away
7. Saw III
8. Babel
9. The Departed {YES! I am excited to see this movie is still doing well.}
10. The Gravedancers
Judging from the list above every moviegoer is in the Christmas spirit. Black Friday {aka the first official holiday shopping day} is this friday so maybe you want to catch a movie in between shopping. My heart goes out to those working in retail and in the grocery stores. Waking up for 7am to 6pm shift is not going to be easy. Well maybe after your shift you can unwind at your local movie theatre. Just a thought!
What to catch this weekend:
Deck the Halls
Deja Vu
Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny
The Fountain
**For complete summaries and who's in the movie go to Yahoo! Movies**
Quick rundown as seen on Yahoo! Movies:
"Sharon Stone is a mother, fashion icon and an activist, yet still maintains an active acting career. She speaks with Harry Smith about the film "Bobby," which is about Robert F. Kennedy"
Opening today is Bobby! Go see this movie tonight right after Thanksgiving dinner! Then go see the new Denzel film this weekend! Bobby is the one of the best new movies coming this holiday season. Bobby has an all-star cast featuring Lindsay Lohan, Demi Moore, Laurence Fishbourne, Emilio Estevez, Sharon Stone, and many more!
Deck the HallsNeighbors Matthew Broderick and Danny DeVito collide when one decides to create the biggest holiday light display in the world.

What I think you should see this weekend:
Check out Denzel telling CBS News about his new film...
"Two-time Oscar winner Denzel Washington tells "The Early Show" 's Julie Chen about his role in the new movie "Déjà Vu." "
The new Denzel Washington film is a can't miss! Denzel's acting gets better and better. I think he got cheated out of winning an Oscar twice for X and Cry Freedom. He did a much better job there than in "Training Day." Nevertheless if Denzel is not the reason why you're going to see this film go see it for the upcoming actress Mrs. Robin Thicke better known as Paula Patton. Paula is a actor to watch in 2007 if she choices her acting roles right. Watch out Gabrielle Union Paula's bringing the heat!
