James Brown Arrives at the Apollo
A crowd of New Yorkers and fans flocked the Apollo Theatre today in Harlem for the public viewing of James Brown according to Vibe.com

private ceremony Friday in Brown's hometown, Augusta, Ga., and another public
ceremony on Saturday, officiated by Rev. Sharpton, at Augusta's James Brown
Arena."

was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received a lifetime Grammy
achievement award.
