Diddy apologizes for using fur in his Sean John clothing line
Diddy recently came under fire for selling fur off his successful men clothing line, Sean John. Apparently the faux-fur was real racoon fur. Being the business man who loves publicity that he is (check out his video blogs onmyspace for proof), Diddy issued an apology IMMEDIATELY. What a busy month it's been for Diddy from welcoming his twin girls to this drama.
"Rap mogul Sean Combs has issued an apology to animal rights activists over the{Source}
use of real fur in his Sean John clothing line-insisting he didn't realize it
was genuine animal skin. The star came under fire from the Humane Society Of The
United States (HSUS) earlier this month after it was discovered the hood lining
of a 'faux fur' Sean John jacket was made from the skin of raccoon dogs. But
Combs has apologized to "HSUS" and has vowed never to use real fur again,
insisting department store Macy's remove the offending garment from sale. He says, "I was unaware of the nature of this
material, but as soon as we were alerted, the garments were pulled off the
Macy's floor and website. "I have instructed our licensee to cease the
production of any garment using this material immediately."
Have you seen the footage yet of how they raccoon dogs are treated? It's at http://furfree.hsus.org
