THE HOOPLA: KELLY RO COLLAPSES & REMY MA SHOOTING INCIDENT

Fresh off the heels of her NYC album release party for second solo record, "Ms. Kelly", Kelly Rowland collapses in Nigeria. Via People: "Kelly Rowland collapsed onstage early Sunday in Lagos, Nigeria, where she had been performing. Dehydration was the cause, her rep, Yvette Noel Schure, said in a statement. Rowland was taken to an undisclosed Lagos hospital for a check-up and was reported to be in "good condition."

Remy Ma supposedly shot her best friend over $2,000 stolen from her handbag. Via Daily News: "A foul-mouthed Bronx rapper was the focus of a citywide manhunt yesterday after she allegedly shot a pal in the Meatpacking District during a spat over $2,000, law enforcement sources said. “Please don’t let me die!” Makeda Barnes-Joseph screamed as she lay bleeding on the ground next to her car in the trendy neighborhood. “Am I going to die?” Barnes-Joseph howled at 3:50 a.m. on W. 14th St. near Washington St. Remy Ma - best known as the former leading lady of rapper Fat Joe’s Terror Squad - fled the shooting in an SUV, police sources said. But the Cadillac Escalade crashed just a few blocks away and witnesses told cops Remy Ma fled on foot, sources said. She had stomped into the trendy Pizza Bar on Ninth Ave. near 14th St. with an entourage of 10 people just after midnight." [ READ MORE ]

Remy Ma has since turned herself in. Via All-Hip Hop: "Rap star Remy Ma reported to police earlier today (July 14) and has officially been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon." Set, me too. So sad. I was so shocked by how hard she fell. Her eyes looked shaky. It look like she was trying to catch her breathe before she passed out. 15 minutes is no joke.

Ugh I couldn't see the video. I feel bad for her. But who I really feel bad for is Remy ma's friend.. how hurt she must feel, physically and emotionally.

Imagine if Kelly had passed out...Michelle and Beyonce would have lost their minds.

i'm glad kelly is ok.

man remy ma has lost her damn mind. i am glad that her ex friend is ok. i hope she presses charges . i wonder if being hood was worth remy ma losing her freedom . remy could have handled this in a different way .
