Usher opens up via statment which he used to slam the media and bloggers about his 'private' relationship with his pregnant wife-to be, Tameka Foster:
"It has already been announced that I plan to marry this year. However, since my wedding day will be special to Tameka and I, this is information that we would like to keep private. It's disturbing that the media and bloggers (under the guise as 'fans') continuously speculate on the personal aspects of my life, therefore making assumptions and wrong insinuations that my fans are subject to believe.
I am happy, excited, completely clear and independent on my direction, feelings, decisions and I am NOT BEING LED. Some media and bloggers have been totally intrusive, they have misconstrued aspects of my personal life and, because of this, my 'true' fans are not sure about what is fact and what is fiction. There is a difference in stating an opinion versus drawing a conclusion that is incorrect.
As previously reported, I have NEVER threatened or harassed anyone from any media format – print, radio, television or Internet media. At this point the best thing to say to my fans is just because it sounds enticing and it MAY sound 'true,' that does not make it truth. I understand the fact that I must sacrifice some anonymity for the career I love, however some things are personal like having a child or a marriage. These aspects are not for the public and, to me, are sacred. I would hope my privacy in these areas would be respected." [source]

So if you and I did our math correct Usher got Tameka pregnant right before the ink on her divorce papers dried up. Usher is just trying to make a situation that was bad look good. Usher and Tameka both need to quit catching feelings over what's being said about them online or elsewhere. After all, Tameka just had to go on "The Wendy Williams Experience" to write off Usher...only to punk out. Then she flaunts her midriff via an Essence photospread while she's pregnant with Usher's baby. There's NOTHING wrong with her belly but there is a time and place for everything. Her showing off belly (strech marks and all) proves that she's confident with what she has and isn't ashamed to flaunt it. Someone needs to let both Usher and Tameka know if they're going to be so confident publicly, others might not agree with how they flaunt. Folks will always talk about others---good or bad. This much is something Usher and Tameka need to work a little bit harder on. Things that make me go hmmm....

At 11:58 PM,
Yeah I don't care for Tameka but if this relationship messes up with Usher's music I'm going to have a problem! It's no secret that the subject matter of Usher's music is his love life present and past.
So as long as he doesn't mix business with what he does without the camera up in his face, it's cool with me!
He had better bring it when his album drops!

At 11:54 AM,
SET and Tyrone you're both right. This whole situation is something like a NEW artist would be doing--tripping over the small stuff. Usher's been doing this 'singing/acting/dancing/' thing since he was born basically.
I get where he's coming from but times is different from when "Confessions" dropped. There are no longer just the press covering your every move but blogs!
As soon as he puts out some good music like he did with "Confessions" everyone's going to forget his relationship status. Besides Tameka is not the one on stage with you!
well said. I have read that some usher fans are not going to support him and his new album. Which I think is obscene. I believe ush has the right 2 marry who he wants, and that decision should not have an affect for his record sales. How can true fans say they wont like his music if he marrys tameka?? Ppl say this, but when icebox remix and same girl was released they all loved it. IMO, If usher makes good music, it will sell, regardless of who he is committed to.
