R&B singer Cassie used her celebrity platform to help raise awareness for Black AIDS Day which paid tribute to black grandmothers.

Last night in New York City, Cassie walked the red carpet with her grandmothers and Nigerian model Yomi Abiola.

Cassie can be seen next in her film debut, "Step Up 2: The Streets" which hits theaters February 14th. She also recorded a song for the movie called "Is It You".
