Gabrielle Union, Zoe Saldana, Nicole not recording pop album with Rihanna Richie, Joel Madden, and Sanaa Lathan were all seen at the Dolce & Gabbana flagship boutique opening on Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills last night. (The fashion for a cause event benefitted The Art of Elysium - a non-profit organization bringing creative projects to children who are battling serious medical conditions.)



Meagan Good showed up in Lagos, Nigeria for the Anabel Mobile launch party in her favorite leopard print YSL tribute peep-toes and pink Herve Leger dress. As you can see, Meagan is the cost per wear type of girl. (Thanks Bella Naija!)

Danity Kane vocalist Dawn Richard and Pharrell's protege Teyana Taylor attended the Toys for Tots event hosted by The Fashion Reporter, Land Rover Manhattan, and Bloomingdales Saturday night. (The event celebrated Fashion Reporter's third anniversary and it was also hosted by Dawn.)



Dawn arrived in a purple strapless Nicole Miller jersey dress and metallic Givenchy Open Toe d'Orsay heels. If Dawn's outfit looks familar, that's because Alicia Keys wore the same dress with Jimmy Choo snake patchwork sandals to the TIFF premiere of "Secret Life of Bees." Mariah Carey (in Herve Leger) granted Make-A-Wish recipient Angelina Salaiz her wish live on "The Early Show." Outside Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon made their way to their awaiting car. (Mariah doesn't look pregnant to me but she cancelled her upcoming tour. Let the rumors begin!)

In case you missed it, Mariah recently debut the video spot for her new single, "Right To Dream" which is featured on her upcoming film ("Tennessee") soundtrack.

Toni Braxton recently admitted that she had a tumor removed from her breast during her "Dancing With The Stars" competition, according to Us Weekly. The lump was discovered during a routine checkup in August. The 42 year-old R&B singer explained to Us: "I was worried about what they would find. But it was benign. Getting the boot on the show was actually a blessing in disguise for me. We have family history. My grandmother on my dad's side died of breast cancer, and I have aunts on both sides that have breast cancer. I was very fortunate. Cancer knows no race, no creed, no color." [source: Us Weekly]

Toni has since focus her attention on her music career via the leaked track, "Melt." Her album with production by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins is due out in 2009. Queen Latifah, Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel attended the 2008 Kennedy Center Honors event in Washington, D.C. The event paid tribute to Barbra Streisand, Morgan Freeman, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, with musical performances by Latifah, Mrs. Carter, Menzel, Kelli O'Hara, Nathan Gunn and Ne-Yo.



Kerry Washington joined Common via a new vblog he added onto his site, THINKCOMMON.COM. Common danced away in his Chicago apartment to the remix of his single, "UMC" as Kerry recorded the action. Hilarious footage! (FYI: Kerry directed his music video, "I Want You" last year. So I don't think this video indicates that Common is cheating on his girl Serena Williams. You gotta give the people something to talk about, lol!) His album, "Universal Mind Control" drops today.



Also in stores today is the latest Brandy music project. Her fifth studio album, "Human" is out today with the singles, "Long Distance" and "Right Here (Departed)." On yesterday's episode of "Tyra", Brandy talked about she related "Long Distance" to her daughter, Sy'Rai. Brandy visited the CW Morning show to effortlessly perform her two singles off the album which you can watch here.



Over the weekend, Keyshia Cole sported a new look as she sang the National Anthem at the Oscar De La Hoya boxing fight. Keyshia wanted the public to know she has a strong voice but do you think she overdid it with the runs?

The Hollywood premiere of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" (out Dec. 25th) brought out Taraji P Henson, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lopez, Sanaa Lathan, and Tyrese. The film (starring Tarjaji, Brad, and Cate) is based off the 1922 short story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who ages in reverse.



Ashanti got into the Holiday spirit in New York City via two public appearances at Planet Hollywood Times Square and at The RexCorp Plaza Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony over this weekend. Love those Miss Sixty jeans Ashanti rock...

Chris Brown has already recorded new material for his follow-up to "Exclusive" according to The Associated Press. The recent 3x American Music Awards winner said the music project entitled "Graffiti" may included a duet with Madonna and Coldplay. (If Chris' dream goes through, then that's something to look towards to in 2009!)

The 19-year-old crooner says the Material Girl would be his dream duet for a track on his upcoming CD "Graffiti," which is due out next year. He says he'd also love to work with Coldplay. He's collaborated with Jordin Sparks, David Banner and girlfriend Rihanna in the past.

Brown predicts that "Graffiti" will be a bigger project for him. Speaking from the red carpet at the American Music Awards, the platinum-selling R&B star said: "It's going to be my stepping stone from Chris Brown to superstar." [source: AP]

Kelly Rowland performed the first ever MTV Africa Music Awards in Nigeria over the weekend. Kelly hit the stage with popular Nigerian artist, D'Banj. Later on in the telecast, Kelly accepted the Best R&B Award on behalf of Alicia Keys.

The aim of "Hear The World" is to raise global and social awareness about hairing and hairing loss. Alicia Keys sat down for a new interview this morning on "The View" to promote her album re-release, "As I Am: The Super Edition." She talked about her Bond Theme song with Jack White, her role in "The Secret Life of Bees" and her charity work. Tonight is her Keep a Child Black Ball event with Queen Latifah and Iman. The funniest part of her interview was her comment on being a Bond girl.



Fergie has been tapped to unveil the Swarovski Star that will sit atop this year's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in Manhattan. This year's star is the heaviest to grace the famous Rockefeller tree. Fergie also talked about the celebrity-designed crystal ornaments that will decorate the tree. Click here for more info.
