SOLANGE SHOT HER 'I DECIDED' VIDEO
Solange (in a new promotional picture above) shot the video treatment for her Pharrell-produced "I Decided" single recently in Los Angeles with the in-demand director Melina.
If you're keeping track with Melina, she directed Eve's "Tambourine" and Beyonce's "Upgrade U" video.
SOHH Soul, who described the video as 'the ultimate pop art piece', has what to expect from Solange's "I Decided" video treatment:
"Its psychedelic, it's adventurous, it's colorful and not so colorful, it's intelligent, and it's the inner makings of Solange... The "I Decided" video deals with pop culture from the 60s to the future. It displays SoL-AngeL in settings from American Bandstand, to the Civil Rights Movement, to New Wave, and finally a "Cosmic Journey" future. [source]
Solange, who co-wrote Michelle's lead single, "We Break The Dawn" also confirmed to BET that "Sandcastle Disco" featuring Q Tip will be her second single.
"SoL-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams", with Solange's new Geffen Records music venture, has its album release date on August 26th.
UPDATE: CNN caught up with Solange on the video set of her single, "I Decided". Check out four new promotional pictures under the video clip:
