Michelle Williams and Beyonce Knowles were spotted at (new X-Factor Judge) Kelly Rowland's surprise birthday party which was hosted by Tank and LaLa Vasquez at Opera in Hollywood last night. This marks the first public appearance of Kelly with her former Destiny's Child bandmates after she split up with her manager Mathew Knowles. (Kelly's actual birthday is today - February 11, 1981.)




Michelle Williams (in Giusseppe Zanotti silver-toe pumps) performed at the Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks last week. Beyonce and Solange's cousin Angela Beyince were there to show Michelle support. I'm loving Michelle's hairstyle. Next for Michelle is her upcoming remix album.

Solange belt out her new single, "T.O.N.Y" for Pepsi Smash's Cover Art on Yahoo Music. She did a great job with vocals and those zany dance moves. Midway through the younger Knowles sibling and her band The Hadley Street Dreams switches up the groove.

The Dream confirmed that he's working on Mariah's new album during his interview on 102.7 KIIS FM's HD2 New Music Show with DJ Skee. He called the album, MC 3 and said that they'll working on extending her greatest hits appeal. (Blinks eyes at the working title! It's time to get over the Emanicipation of Mimi and leave it as her one of her best music projects. Don't you agree??) The Dream also talked about writing songs in the music business.



Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance, and Gabrielle Union attended the 3rd Annual Sheldon Epps Theatrical Diversity Project Celebration. Love Gabrielle's brown gladiator shoes!



Kimora Lee (pregnant with boyfriend Djimon Hounsou's baby) was seen at the Liverpool launch of her fashion line, Baby Phat. Hmmm...I wonder if she's carrying a boy for this third time around. After all Kimora has two girls already. A boy would be a nice addition to the family. Nice wedding/engagement ring Kimora!

Solange alongside her band The Hadley Street Dreams recreated Coldplay's hit single, "Viva La Vida" for Pepsi Smash's Cover Art series on Yahoo Music. I think this remake suit Solange's raspy vocals.

The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin belted out a soulful rendition of "My Country ‘Tis of Thee" in front of a estimated 2 million people earlier today in Washington, D.C. for the 56th Inauguration. Aretha took it back with that hat, didn't she? Other celebrity guests and U.S. President Barack Obama supporters included Diddy, Jay-Z, Oprah, Beyonce, Solange, and Muhammad Ali. Mrs. Carters sported retro Ray Bans while Solange kept it funky in fingerless gloves. Diddy was obviously in YouTube vblog mode.

Five-time Grammy nominee Jazmine Sullivan performed two of her singles, "Bust Your Windows" and "Need U Beed" off her solo debut, "Fearless" at BET's 106 & Park NYE TV special. She did a great job and kudos to June Ambrose for hooking Jazmine up with those fly YSL boots. I love "Lions, Tears & Bears" (her next single).
