Ne-Yo sat down with Angie Martinez of Hot 97 to talk about blogs, persistent rumors, his new musical direction, and the R&B fiasco with R. Kelly.

He referred to his lead single "Closer" as a 'house record' but he called R&B music his core. Ne-Yo also compared blogs to the new wave of "Showtime at the Apollo" because of the negative comments.
