Fresh off the heels of her Rap Up magazine cover gig, the video premiere of Keri Hilson's debut solo single, "Energy" surfaced online moments ago. Keri in the video goes into character as a boxer -a role inspired by "Million Dollar Baby" reportedly.



Keri decided to go with the upbeat single to lead off her upcoming debut record, "In a Perfect World." The talented songwriter behind the radio friendly hits of Britney Spears, Omarion, Usher, Ciara, Mary J Blige, Pussycat Dolls, and many others worked with music video director, Melina on "Energy."

If the guy in the video looks familar, that's Christian Keyes the same male eye candy from Ashanti's "The Way That I Love You" video. Christian and Keri served up some emotions and chemistry in the video, huh? Many thanks to Brian for the on-set photos!
