MUSIC BUZZ ON KERI HILSON: HERO & RETURN THE FAVOR
Keri Hilson's solo time has taken into fruition yet again. The songwriter-turned-vocalist worked with Nas on his new single, "Hero." Real Talk NY has behind-the-scenes photos of Keri and Nas on the L.A video treatment. (And yes those are the same Melody Ehsani earrings Kelis and Ciara wore before.)
In case you're wondering why that beat sounds familiar, "Hero" was produced by Polow Da Don. I like the melody but can Nas sell this record regardless of the controversy? (Nas changed his album title to "Untitled" and it drops July 15th.)
Anyhow, Keri has sung on the Timbaland hits, "Scream" and "The Way I Are." So it comes as no surprise Keri hasn't stopped working with Tim just yet. Truth be told, Tim and Keri has a winning formula that the public loves. A new single (re: snippet) from Keri's debut album, "In A Perfect World" rock the urban music blogosphere to the core. The single in question is called "Return The Favor" featuring Timbaland.
Word has it that the single was supposed to be the lead track of Keri's upcoming solo record. Keri in the end decided to stick with "Energy." So what are your thoughts on this new Keri Hilson track?
