TYRA'S NEW "ANTM" AD + PLUS HER HARPER'S BAZAAR COVER
The upcoming season of Tyra Banks' reality TV franchise, "America's Next Top Model" wouldn't air until September 3rd but in the meantime, check out this colorful AD campaign. (For the record, Tyra has on Rihanna's Givenchy booties which begs the question has Tyra found another fashion muse?!)
On the fashion tip, Tyra has the September 2008 cover edition of "Harper's Bazaar" all to herself. Tyra would be dressed up as Michelle Obama in a political-themed photo session. Expect to see Tyra as Michelle when it hits newsstands this week.
UPDATE: Harper's Bazaar added these Alexi Lubomirski-taken photos onto their site. Purple was a dominant color as you can tell...
Check out the cover over at Fashionologie. Speaking of Michelle Obama, check her out on the September cover of "Ebony" magazine. The urban publication talked with Michelle about her fashion icon status, her marriage to Barack Obama, and her children.
USA Today published a great quote from the interview. Michelle said her husband is her best accessory. "Barack and I — as partners, as friends and as lovers — we accessorize each other in many ways," said Obama, wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. "The best thing I love having on me is Barack on my arm and vice versa, whether it's having him standing there smiling at me, or watching him mesmerize a crowd or talk to some seniors in a senior center."
