BEYONCE SPOTTED IN PARIS + HER GIANT MAGAZINE SHOOT
Beyonce (who just picked up the starring role in "A Star Is Born" not true) was spotted outside the luxurious Hotel Meurice. (She's in town to film her appearance on "Star Academy.") The recent Elle magazine cover girl just announced the European tour dates for her "I Am..." world tour which kicks off on April 26th in Zagreb, Croatia and ends on May 31st in Belfast, UK. (Thierry Mugler is the tour's sole fashion designer.) Congrats to Mrs. Carter for her Golden Globe nomination in the catgeory Best Original Song - Motion Picture "Once In a Lifetime" off "Cadillac Records."

A quote lifted Beyonce's Giant magazine interview caused a frenzy in the blogosphere. When asked about the comparisons between the Jacksons (as in Janet and MJ's family) to her own, Beyonce has this to say: “I grew up upper-class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.” [source: Ok] If this quote is true, can you knock Beyonce for defending her family? Though she could have said it another way to prevent 'slamming' the Jackson clan, I get what she tried to say. (But that's just my opinion!)

I think we all get what she was trying to say but if you watch the Beyonce Special she talks about her family having hard times as well and Her Dad quitting his Job her parents separating and her dad moving out, She talks about Tina having to work to take care of the whole family and it taking a toll on the family. So while maybe we get what she was saying I definately agree you don't compare you situation or judge another person situation based on yours. You always end up looking like a donkeys tail.
