PAULA DeANDA & BOW WOW'S SO EASY VIDEO

Last week I posted up pictures from Paula and Bow Wow's new music video, the said video treatment has dropped officially. “Easy” is the fourth single and our favorite track off Paula DeAnda’s debut album. Lil’ Wayne is on the album version, but the video version features Bow Wow. Wilmer Valderrama and Baby Bash make cameos. I predict this video might give Paula the push to bigger mainstream success. The hook's catchy and Bow Wow's on it.

ON SET OF PAULA DeANDA AND BOW WOW'S SO EASY
The #1 Most Searched Latin artist on myspace Paula DeAnda of "Walk Away" fame has wrapped the video treatment to her follow-up single, "So Easy" with Bow Wow. The original verison of this song featured Lil' Wayne BUT Bow Wow did his thing on the track.

Via Press Release:

"Paula DeAnda, who is in the midst of performing a handful of dates with Chris Brown on the west coast, shot a video last week in LA for her new single “Easy” which features artist Bow Wow. Director Bille Woodruff created an eye-popping video that showcases Paula’s star-quality and beauty. Her new single "Easy" featuring Bow Wow is receiving early indications that it will be explosive with
adds at KIIS LA, Z100 New York, WKSC/Chicago, and WIOQ in Philadelphia. Her previous hit single “Walk Away” was recently certified gold by the RIAA, which continues to be in solid rotation on pop and rhythm stations and has enjoyed a

EXTRA HOOPLA

Prior to going to the Knicks game on April 6th, Alicia and her step-brother went to Diana Ross show. [pic credit: FUNKY SOUL DIVA]

Her bag and shoes game is on point! I'm feeling the straight hair Alicia but I prefer her with the cornrows and braids. She always had some interesting braiding style.

Ciara* performed her latest single 'Like A Boy' on the "Jimmy Kimmel" Show earlier this week:

*As usual her choreography was fly!

Yes indeed, T-Pain has finally dropped the video treatment to "Buy You A Drink" which features Young Joc. This song is irresistable and inescapable. Well maybe it's just me but whenever I enter my car which is not too enough I hear this song on the radio.

6.5 million Fantasia did her Broadway debut on "The Color Purple" last night.

Judging by these pictures, Fantasia did her thing. Celie’s big final song “I’m Here”* has brought studio audiences to tears both on Fantasia’s career launching pad American Idol and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Her next single, "When I See You" is already up on her myspace page and the NYC radio stations have this song on HEAVY rotation. I don't know about you but I think this song should be released first.

[SEE MORE PICTURES FROM FANTASIA'S BROADWAY DEBUT HERE]

*Here's a clip of Fantasia on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" performing "I'm Here":

Nina Sky did a hot remix to Lloyd's "Get It Shawty*":

[LISTEN]
*The song was produced by JLack (Usher's brother).

Fabolous has a song out called, "Make Me Better*" which is produced by Timbaland and features Ne-Yo:

*Fab, Tim, and Ne-Yo all on the SAME song!?! You already know you want to hear this song. Fab's album, "From Nothin' To Somethin'" drops June 12th.

Click [LISTEN] to hear Fab's new joint, "Make Me Better."

Jive Records' teen R&B star Paula DeAnda* just got back from the Bahamas where she perform two songs:

The first song she did was “Make ‘Em Clap to This:”

She also performed our favorite song “Walk Away:”

*Be sure to enter Urban-Hoopla's CD giveaway. I'm giving away three copies of Paula DeAnda's self-titled album. CONTEST ENDS APRIL 23RD!

Kelis lets folks know she is NOT the one to mess around with:

"R&B diva Kelis' publicist is playing down reports the “Bossy” singer turned bossy at a party performance in Palm Springs, California over the weekend, insisting her client was made to feel uncomfortable at the event.

The singer was accused of bad behavior by the organizers of the annual White Party after she arrived late and refused to rehearse for her performance. But her spokeswoman, Tracy Nguyen, insists the party bosses were far from accommodating, stating, "There were many missteps behind the scenes which created a less than suitable environment for any artist to perform. Because of her love for her fans, Kelis made the decision to take the stage, against any advice not to do so."

But party producer Jeffrey Sanker has hit back at the claims in a note floating around the internet. He writes, "Any unsuitable conditions were created by Kelis, who refused to rehearse for her show and arrived two hours late. I spent two weeks preparing an elaborate production number built entirely around Kelis, and when it came time to do the show, she was completely unprepared." [SOURCE]

Here are three alternate covers for Kelis' current single, "Lil' Star*" featuring Cee-Lo:

*This is one of my favorite songs on "Kelis Was Here."

Labels: Alicia Keys, Ciara, Fabolous, Fantasia, Kelis, Ne-Yo, New Music, Oprah, Paula DeAnda, Timbaland
