"Free Your Mind"
Destiny's Child

"No No No" Pt. 1
With girl groups Destiny's Child En Vogue and TLC gone, does Cherish, 3LW stand the chance at all??! P...L..A examines the major contributions bought on by the girl group of the reminisce days.
EnVogue's major contributions were their soulful renditions
Gotta Man with fellow girl group rap trio Salt n Pepa (with Spinderella) and their irresistable song, "Free Your MInd."
Fast Forward to the mid 90s another girl group emerged and they called themselves T-Boz, Left-Eye and Chili--- TLC to everybody else. TLC's tomboy meets girly attitude inspire many of today's hip hop female artists Ciara, Aaliyah, Monica and Brandy.
By the late '90s another girl group came to fuse what En Vogue and TLC bought to hip hop and soul music---Destiny's Child. With their girl power anthems Destiny's Child seemed to get the formula right.
Record labels and impersonators took note and it wasn't before long girl groups popped up everywhere you turn from 3LW, Dream, Blaque, Danity Kane, Cherish, 702, and the list goes on and on.
Is the world ready for another Destiny's Child, Xcape, TLC, SWV or a perhaps En Vogue...time will only tell, right?
