Angie Stone as you remember her from her hits "Wish I Didn't Miss You" and "Brotha" has come back to the music scene. With Jill Scott back and Angie on the scene, neo-soul music of the late '90s is surely making a strong comeback. Hopefully Tweet, Maxwell, Bilal, and D'Angelo would come back as well.

Going back to D'Angelo for a moment, Angie Stone opens up about her relationship with the Neo-Soul singer that had the females feening with his song, "Untitled (How Does it Feel?) Angie and D'Angelo have a 10 year old son. Read on for the full scoop from Angie:

The criticism that D’Angelo and I received about our relationship only began once he became successful. What people didn’t realize was that before he became
successful there was Angie Stone from the group Vertical Hold — a strong beautiful sister who dated somebody who had not even crossed the threshold of the industry yet. When I was dating him he wore glasses, had short hair and his pants were hanging down to his butt. He was just a 19-year-old kid with big shorts and nobody cared and no one saw his beauty but me. And I told him, “You are beautiful. I promise you when your record drops your lips are gonna become famous, your eyes—everything will become famous. But he couldn’t see it because his self-esteem wasn’t where it is today. He didn’t even have an image and his hair was really short so I braided his hair with thread for his first album cover. It wasn’t until Brown Sugar came out that people actually took a good look at him and said, “You know what? He’s fine.” Then all of a sudden, he’s so fine he shouldn’t be with me.

Above is a clip of former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams on the red carpet at the ASCAP Music Awards 2007. According to this interview Michelle will release her first R&B solo single this year and she'll be featured in an untitled film. Her first R&B record will drop next year. Speaking of Destiny's Child and film, rumor has it that Disney wants Michelle's DC band mater Beyonce Knowles to star in the film adaptation of "Aida"---the very Broadway play Michelle starred in during Destiny's Child initial hiatus. If we're going to see a repeat of Beyonce in "Dreamgirls", "The Fighting Temptations", etc, I'll pass. The role should been between Michelle and Heather Headley NOT Beyonce.

This past week was all about the couples.
First up is Eddie Murphy and Melanie Brown. Melanie Brown added Eddie Murphy's name as the father of her child on the actual birth certificate before the results of the paternity test hit the general public.

Rihanna and Omarion simply couldn't get enough of one another. The pair was spotted doing a J.Lo/Marc meets Beyonce/Jay-Z.---they left seperately after having dinner at the Grove Center. I want to see how tall Rihanna is to Omarion. We all are aware that Omarion and Bow Wow are roughly the same height. Can Rihanna and Omarion become the young hot black couple that was left empty due to the split of Ciara and Bow Wow? Time will only tell!

Speaking of Omarion, a video clip circulated around the Internet cause some uproar between Omarion and Danity Kane fans:

Jawn Murray of BV Buzz announced that Faith Evans had a baby boy with her husband Todd Russaw. "Congratulations to singer Faith Evans. She and husband Todd Russaw are the proud parents of a healthy baby boy named Ryder Evan Russaw, who was born on March 22. The 33-year-old Capitol Records recording artist has three other children, including Christopher Jordan Wallace Jr, the son of the late Notorious B.I.G." [BV Buzz] On the music tip, Faith can be heard on the hook to John Legend's song, "Heaven."
