Beyonce greets a special fan
During her recent Grammy rehearsals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Beyonce greeted a very special fan of hers. Celebrities giving back is just another moment why I started my blog in the first place. As much as the gossip part of blogging on celebrities is sometimes interesting and entertaining, I love more when folks that got more paper remembers the average 9 to 5 folks!
But I digress...
"Beyonce greeted 13-year-old Timmy Kelly from Philadelphia. Although Timmy is blind and has cerebral palsy, his hearing is so fine-tuned that he instantly recognised her voice. His response was "Oh, my God. BEYONCE". Beyonce held the little boy's hands, danced and sang with him in her dressing room." {spotted at Toya's World}
To refresh your memory of the end result of Beyonce's Grammy rehearsal, here's a clip of Beyonce performing 'Listen' which appeared on her sophomore record, "B'Day" as well as the soundtrack to the Oscar winning movie, "Dreamgirls."
See who else was the 2007 Grammy's [here].
In related news, Beyonce was recently quoted as saying,“He’s one of the artists that we look to start the new trend. I respect him.” Beyonce on Justin Timberlake. [Panache Report]
