The 49th Annual GRAMMY Awards
The 49th Annual Grammy Awards kicked off TONIGHT. Pictured above is Justin Timberlake and "My GRAMMY Moment" competition winner Robyn Troup. (lucky b*tch!)
Below is Lionel Richie, Chris Brown and Smokey Robinson the faces of R&B through many generations. Addition to this, the Grammy's was a night of first. MJB for the first stage accepted a Grammy on stage. Shakira performed for the first time at the Grammy's. The Police reunited for the first time in YEARS and as a result kick off the show. (More on this first's later on.)

Scarlett Johansson in a black Monique Lhuillier dress. (She announced during the telecast she's recording an album. Hmmm, did Justin Timberlake inspired this new move?)
Beyonce Knowles in a metallic silver strapless satin Armani dress. Beyonce won for a contemporary R&B Grammy Award for 'B'Day.' That's not the only thing she won recently. "Music World Entertainment announced today thatBeyoncé received the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) Critic'sChoice Award for Best Song for her single 'Listen' that is featured in thenew smash hit DreamWorks / Paramount Film 'Dreamgirls.'" read much more [here].

'Because I Said So' star Mandy Moore in a floral-print gown looks very excited to be there. (Anyhow 'Because I Said So' is highly entertaning. I went to see that and as well as 'Dreamgirls' yesterday.)

Sting and wife Trudie Styler. (Sting and his The Police bandmates reunite to kick off the show.)
Tamar and Beyonce. (Tamar and Beyonce were used to be in the group Girls Tyme which is now Destiny's Child. Tamar now sings back-up for Prince on the song, "Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed." In fact she came as Prince's date.)

Taboo, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Fergie, from the Black Eyed Peas, hold their Grammys after winning Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, f.or 'My Humps.' (Fergie wore a slimmering black Badgley Mischka dress.)
