KOBE BRYANT GETS HIS FIRST MVP
KOBE BRYANT GETS HIS FIRST MVP

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant won his first Most Valuable Player (MVP) award from the NBA on Wednesday during a basketball match against the Utah Jazz.

Kobe's daughters Natalia and Gianna were at hand to congratulate their father as well as his wife Vanessa.

Kobe's family even wore his jersey number in celebration which I found to be very thoughtful.

Anyhow, check out what Kobe had to say about his first MVP:

“I really don’t know what to say to be honest with you. It’s a blessing and such an honor to be here. To receive this award, I can go through a list of thank you’s. My family, they enabled me to be the best I can be.., training everyday and they give up so much to sacrifice for me to be able to train and prepare for games and I’m just very honored and blessed to be here.” Bryant said. EVE FOR MAC COSMETICS
Eve was spotted promoting M.A.C Cosmetics alongside Dita Von Teese in New York City. Eve and Dita celebrated raising of 100 million dollars for the M.A.C. Aids Fund's Aids research. Isn't it great that these two are using their celebrity to shine on an important issue? (I always try to support M.A.C by getting a lip gloss every now and then.)

I'm loving the new hair style Eve is rocking.

HALLE'S HERO
For 2007 Heroes Among Us Awards, Halle Berry pose with executive director Karen Earl of Jenesse Center. Halle used her celebrity platform to raise $2.5 million for the domestic violence intervention program and shelter. The Revlon model and pregnant actress experienced domestic abuse in her relationships with men and from watching her mother and sister endured abuse from her alcoholic father.

-click here see image in full-

I grew up with domestic violence, so I have a special place in my heart for women and children who suffer. I've known Karen for seven years and watched her give of herself to other people. She'll work 15 hours planning a benefit, then spend all night in the shelter with a new family. You don't often see people who make time for others every single day of their life.
Elsewhere, Halle Berry attended the launch party forRoberto Cavalli's H&M collection in Rome Italy.
