AVRIL TEAMS UP WITH LIL' MAMA


Avril Lavigne and rapper Lil’ Mama (of ”Lip Gloss” fame) recently shot a video for the remix to Avril’s hit “Girlfriend.” [source]





Bridging the gap between pop-rock and hip-hop is something we've seen since the days of Run-DMC and Aerosmith. Remember that song that Lenny Kravitz and Jay-Z did or the rock-infused N.E.R.D's album? Well Avril and Mama would be one of the few female rock and hip-hop set-up---something we haven't seen since the catchy blends of Gwen Stefani and Eve. Just on the strength of underground hit, "Lipgloss," Lil' Mama has scored her first notable guest spot on a song. Who else do you want Lil' Mama to team up in the future? Drop a comment or two.
