ROUND THE WAY
Robin Thicke opens to Giant about his high school years, racism, his wife Paula Patton, being compared to Justin Timberlake, and much more.
On the difference between him and JT:
“I would say that Justin’s been a star since he was 16 and it took me 14 years to become a star. That’s the big difference. I’m the guy who had to keep trying. I’m the guy who took four record deals and never hit. I’m the guy who has actually has been through all the pain and the struggle and the heartache. And when I sing now, I sing with pain and heartache and struggle in my voice.”
On the Hollywood effect on his marriage to Paula Patton:
“She was having sex scenes with the guy who won Album of the Year (Andre 3000), and I pretty much had no record deal. She didn’t come home during the three months of filming (Idlewild) because she was so focused. I started believing she didn’t need me anymore, and when she came home, I started projecting that onto her and pushing her away. That’s what ‘Complicated’ (a song from his album) is about – me saying, ‘I wish I could stop thinking I’m not good enough because,[source via source]
otherwise, I won’t be able to get this girl back.”

Mos Def has ditched his music career for the time being for the movies. Check him out with Jack Black spoofing Ghostbusters here in this still:
Plot:
A man (Black) whose brain becomes magnetized unintentionally destroys every tape in his friend's video store. In order to satisfy the store's most loyal renter, an aging woman with signs of dementia, the two men set out to remake the lost films, which include Back to the Future, The Lion King, and Robocop.[source]
Former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, 41, and actress Holly Robinson Peete, 42, raise four children -- twins Rodney Jackson 'RJ' and Ryan, 9 1/2, Robinson, 4 1/2, and Roman, 2 -- but their toughest job as parents has been confronting RJ's autism. The couple tell their story in this week's issue of People.

Holly on RJ:
When he started talking, 'cow' was his first word. 'Cow, cow,' he would say, pointing his fat fingers at the picture. He and his sister were hitting all their developmental milestones on time. He was sweet, had a great disposition and was always giving kisses and saying his few words. I will never forget that because one day he stopped. He went from saying, 'cow, cow' to nothing. Silence. Indifference. That change happened when he was about 2 1/2, very soon after he had received his inoculations for measles, mumps, and rubella. I noticed he
ceased making eye contact and responding to his name without loud repetitive
shouts. 'RJ, RJ, RJ!' we would scream helplessly.

1. Amerie's a computer geek. "I am addicted to The Sims. I live out a virtual life online. I think it's seriously cool, but I guess it's kind of dorky. "I've got Kelly Rowland into it too, and now we hook up in the game. Beyonce tried to join us, but she wasn't into it. "Also I love to read science magazines. It's not very R+B I know."
