NOT SO BLIND ITEM

I hear that a listening party for a sexy R&B starlet's forthcoming album became a pity party after media guests began sharing with the label staff "how bad they thought the music was." A source tells me that by the time the last song was played, journalists had the same sentiment: "The album sucks!" Could that be the delay in its release?

I AM THINKING IT MYA OR AMERIE SINCE IT LOOKS LIKE THE PERSON IS ONE OF THOSE WHOSE ALBUM IS CONTENTLY BEING PUSHED BACK. ALL OF MYA'S SONGS I HAVE HEARD SUCKS.
THE OTHERS EITHER DONE HAVE A COMPLET ALBUM OR ITS ALREADY RELEASED. MY SIS DOESN'T LIKE RIHANNA CD, THINKS IT HAS TO GROW ON HER.

Mya and Amerie's albums have been pushed back consistently. Of the two I think it's Mya. She just had an album listening session in Chicago and R. Kelly was there as well as many insiders so I guess it's Mya. It'll be ashame if it's her though. From did she go from "Moving on" to "lock u down?"

AND she worked with Kiely Williams' new boyfriend too. I don't get how the state of R&B shifted from where it was a few years ago to now. Almost all of R&B music has become materialistic. Whatever happened to the classic romantic songs? That gimmick never fails to sell.

Hmm...I don't know about Amerie. I haven't heard of her hosting an listening session as of yet.

It's gotta be Mya. Her new material is sooo 1996. All the songs I've heard sound like leftover tracks from her first album. Her voice hasen't gotten any better, and the subjects are still very simple, no growth whatsoever.

Okay if you read it says fourth coming album. It cant be Solange, she doesnt have 3 albums already. Maybe Rihanna but her albums already out so I doubt it. Amerie? Not sure about her albums. Blu Cantrell? Lumidee? Lets be real: no one really cares. My guess goes to Mya!

Mya's album from what I'm hearing is not one of her best works. She always has a couple of bangers on her albums like "Case of the Ex"--she had "Best of Me" and "Free" on there. "Fear of Flying" had "Real Compared to What", "Falling", and "My Love is Like...Whoa." Her first album had "Moving On", "My First Night", and "It's All About Me."

Mya has come a LONG way since she came on the scene with the support of Dru Hill behind her.
