Directed by actress Kerry Washington, the video treatment for Common's new single "I Want You" has star-studded cameos by Kanye West, Serena Williams, Derek Luke, and Alicia Keys.

"Kerry and I have always admired each others work and always wanted to collaborate on a project. When we began planning for the video for "I Want You," I reached out to Kerry to star in it and it developed into her directing. She had a strong vision for the song that grabbed me from the start so we got our cast and crew together and made it happen."

"I Want You" is inspired by the 1986 Mickey Rourke/Kim Basinger erotic classic "9 1/2 Weeks" which has Alicia and Common starring as reunited lovers. This is not the first time Common and Alicia work together - they shot "Smoking Cigarettes" earlier this year. The Chi-Town native is currently celebrating 15 years into the music industry and what's not a better way to do so with a handful of his peers?

This song is one of my favorites aside from "The People" off "Finding Forever". I still play the "Be" record like it came out yesterday, lol!
