PREVIEW LUPE FIASCO'S SUPERSTAR
Over the weekend, Hot 97 played this new song by Lupe Fiasco called, "Superstar."The track features Matthew Santos (and not Chris Martin from Coldplay like I thought). "Dumb It Down" is NOT the lead single off Lupe's upcoming album, "The Cool" as I reported.
"Food & Liquor" is one of my top 10 favorite hip-hop albums all because of the songs "Real", "Pressure", "Kick, Push", "I Gotcha", "Daydreamin'", and "Hurt Me Soul." As to yet why Lupe hasn't reach the level of his mentors Kanye West and Jay-Z, I honestly don't know. His lyrics goes beyond what some hip-hop artists are discussing.

Peace!
What you say about Lupe is the truth. My boyfriend is a DJ. We've been up on Lupe since early 2006 when he dropped like five unheard mixtapes. The man's a monster! I don't give a damn if folks don't dig polysyllabic rhyming...simpletons.
Lupe is the truth!
