Garcelle Beauvais-Nilion had twin boys Jax and Jaid. When she stepped out on the red carpet two months later at the kick-off party for 50th annual Grammy Awards, the one question was where did her baby fat go??




Kim Fields welcomed her first child- a boy she named Sebastian Alexander with boyfriend Christopher Morgan. 8 months ago after attending the Ebony Pre-Oscar celebration in a black and white empire-waist dress, Kim showed little sign of her pregnancy self when showed up at the "Somebody Help Me" premiere 8 months later.




Melanie Brown's gig on "Dancing With the Stars" and her Spice Girls comeback rehearsals helped her shed the weight she put while pregnant with Eddie Murphy's daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown. Since having her second child in April, Melanie wasted no time slipping into Herve Leger skin-tight dresses on and off the red carpet.




When Diddy's long-time girlfriend Kim Porter became pregnant with twin girls D'Lila Star and Jesse James Combs, blogs and fans scream WTF! Diddy is known for not being faithful as evident in his love child wih Sarah Chapman popped up WHILE Kim was pregnant.





Although Tamia didn't make any red carpet appearance while pregnant with her second child, baby girl named Lael Rose Hill, she continue to look just as stunning post-pregnancy.



By the end of the year, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Christina Aguilera, Monica, and Nicole Richie all announced their pregnancies. 2008 is the year of the baby.
