Rihanna and her best friend Melissa went shopping for abstract paintings in Los Angeles this past weekend. As reported by Rihanna Online, Rihanna made a list of possible selections, including Todd Goldman's "Barbie is a Slut" (LOL) and "Fat Kids Are Harder to Kidnap.



Photos taken at Rihanna's surprise birthday party surfaced online via rihanna-fenty.com. Evan Ross, Melody Thornton, Chris Brown and Kanye West were all seen at the Les Deux celebrating Rihanna's 20th birthday. (Today is Rihanna's actual birthday.)



Kelly Rowland also celebrated her birthday at The Lane restaurant in London. The R&B singer, who has a re-release album on the way, turned 27. As for the reason why Kelly's in London, she will be a presenter at the Brits Awards. (Keep reading for this tidbit later on in the post!)



Lauren London, Cassie, Diddy, Cheri Dennis, America's Next Top Model alumni Nik, and BET hot Aleesha Renee partied at NYC night spot, Plumm. (FYI: Nik has on the same two-toned heels Kelly Rowland and Christina Milian wore earlier in the month.)



Kelly Rowland, Leona Lewis, and Rihanna attended the 2008 Brit Awards in silver-gray strapless mini-dresses.
