HOT LIKE FIRE
In matching avaitor shades, Usher and Tameka kick up their public displays of affection just a notch as they went shopping in Beverly Hills:

Tameka's grin and that engagement ring she's showing off is hella big! As mentioned by Usher their wedding will be this Novemeber right around the launch of his wine bar in Manhattan as well as his much anticipated album. If "Same Girl" is any indication of what Usher may bring to the R&B plate, his comeback is a good look without having to boost that whole "daddy's home" status. Speaking of these two, they hit up TAO in Las Vegas after the Mayweather and De La Hoya fight in matching beige numbers:
Okay first the matching shades and now the matching colors. Cute or not really? I'm interested in how Tameka will suit him up when his album drops. Usher's blazer, fitted caps, avaitor shades, and a buttoned up shirt is STILL being used on just about every R&B male artist. That's not to say Usher started that trend but certainly jumpstarted that look.
BREAKING NEWS: Usher has confirmed his mother, Jonetta Patton is no longer his manager: "At this time in my life, I am simply more interested in building the strength of my family. And in order to do that, I feel it's best to separate my business life from my personal life," he said. [Read about JPAT NOT being her son's manager over at Yahoo]
Two other couples were in town for the much-talked fight. First up are Ashanti and Nelly who quickly shut rumors of a split up showing up on the red carpet with their arms around one another:
Per Irv Gotti Ashanti's album should drop sometime by the end of this year. "Concrete Rose" was a solid album but her self-titled album proved she could have came harder than that. I do admit "Only U" was my summer anthem as well as that song she did with T.I was a club banger but Ashanti can come harder. Hopefully she'll pair up with Lloyd on her album.
And lastly Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony cheered in the stands during the fight:
Now that's the Jennifer Lopez that I know about--all hollering yet staying fly! Anyhow I heard J.Lo is recording an English-language album which has a strong lead single that's suppose to hit airwaves any day now. I don't know about you but I'm interested in listening to new music from Jenny Lo. I wonder who she'll work with this time around. Each album she manages to team up with a hip-hop artist (ie. Ja Rule, Fat Joe, LL Cool J) that appeals to the urban and pop audiences. Genius marketing move on J.Lo's part.
Either since I found my IPOD after a two-day search through my bags (yeah I'm a bag fein), I've been bumping to En Vogue's "Hold On":
Did you notice Djimon Hounsou jamming on a sax in the video? Not really. Press play again, folks! Hit up [Throwback Terrace] for the very best of En Vogue videography. I hope I did all my fellow En Vogue fans out there good with that one.
